PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a steel containing V, in which a cheap oxide can be used with the high yield of≥85% without depending on an expensive ferroalloy in the case of melting the steel containing V. SOLUTION: As the temperature condition at the adding time of Al and V oxide, respective temperatures of the temperature before adding, the temperature after adding and the temperature after secondary-refining, are the temperature higher 50-200°C than the liquidus temperature of the above molten steel and the ratio [V]/[Al] of [V] concentration in the molten steel to [Al] concentration of the molten steel, is 0.2-20.
