PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bank bill processor capable of storing a bank bill for change in a processor and when a large denomination bill is inserted, paying out the stored bank bill as the change. SOLUTION: When a bank bill B inserted by a bank bill insertion port 31 is the one suitable as the change, a pressure member dislocation mechanism 64 contracts and stops at a place where a pressure member 68 passes between partition plates extended like a shape of a shelf board from upper and lower part of a casing 62. The bank bill B is guided inside the processor by switching of a switching lever 51 of a switching device 50 attached to a bank bill conveyance means 32, taken in a bank bill taking in part 72 using a gap formed by the partition plates 61 and the pressure member 68 as a taking in part and after that, stored in a bank bill storage part 69 in accordance with restoration of the pressure member 68 to an original position by an energization means 65. When the bank bill B is returned as the change, it is ejected to the outside through the bank bill insertion port 31 by an action of a change returning roller 70 and reverse rotation of the bank bill conveyance means 32.
