PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intelligibly and effectively transmit an alarm even to a hearing-impaired person. SOLUTION: In this security device 1, a signal decision part 14 interprets an alarm level from an alarm signal received from a server 50 (S2). The signal decision part 14 specifies control contents of a household electric appliance 300 corresponding to the alarm level interpreted from the alarm signal in reference to a control table 15 (S3). The signal decision part 14 requests a signal processing part 13 to transmit a control signal embedded with the control contents of the specified household electric appliance 300 to the household electric appliance 300. The signal processing part 13 generates the control signal embedded with the control contents of the specified household electric appliance 300 in response to the request of the signal decision part 14. The control signal is transmitted to the household electric appliance 300 by a signal transmission part 17b (S4). When the household electric appliance 300 receives the control signal from the security device 1, the household electric appliance 300 operates according to the control contents embedded in the control signal (S5).
