PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor having a reduced minimum refrigerant discharge amount while maintaining a minimum revolving speed. SOLUTION: The scroll compressor 1 comprises a fixed scroll 19 having a fixed scroll spiral body 19b in a spiral shape erected on one side face of a fixed scroll end plate 19a, and a revolving scroll 21 having a revolving scroll spiral body 21b in a spiral body erected on one side face of a revolving scroll end plate 21a and supported in revolving motion with the revolving scroll spiral body 21b engaging with the fixed scroll spiral body 19b to form a compression chamber P. Between the front end of the fixed scroll spiral body 19b and the revolving scroll end plate 21a and between the revolving scroll spiral body 21b and the fixed scroll end plate 19a, enlarged parts 51, 55 are provided, respectively, which have a larger space at the winding end sides of the fixed scroll spiral body 19b and the rotary scroll spiral body 21b than at the center sides.
