PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve silentness by reducing collision sound of a valve and a valve seat part; and to enhance reliability by improving sealability of an opening-closing means, in a scroll compressor. SOLUTION: In this scroll compressor, a compression mechanism part provided in a sealed vessel has a suction chamber 9, a compression space 10, a back pressure chamber 30 for pressing a back part of a orbiting scroll to the fixed scroll 4 side, a back pressure hole 18a for communicating the suction chamber 9 or the compression space 10 with the back pressure chamber 30, and an opening-closing means for opening and closing the back pressure hole 18a. The opening-closing means has the valve seat part arranged in the back pressure hole 18a and having a valve seat surface, and a back pressure valve 24A for opening and closing the back pressure hole by abutting on the valve seat surface of this valve seat part. The valve seat part is formed of a seal member 24A superior in heat resistance and oil resistance, being a separate member from a member 4 for constituting the back pressure hole 18a and having cushioning performance to a collision of the back pressure valve 24A.
