PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting apparatus for non-ferrous waste materials capable of sorting precisely non-ferrous waste materials including copper wire in such a shape as to get entangled easily with other waste materials, resins in the form of harness or sheets, etc. and a system for sorting non-ferrous materials using the apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a sorting vessel 5 for sorting mixed waste materials on the basis of the difference of specific gravities in a liquid, a vertically pulsating means 6 having an air chamber 61 causing the liquid in the sorting vessel 5 to pulsate in the vertical direction, a sorting screen section 7 dividing the inside of the sorting vessel 5 into the upper and the lower part, restricting the amount of the passing water pushed up through the pulsation of the pulsating means 6 according to the distance from the recovery port 13 and making the water flow stronger on the inlet port 11 than on the recovery port 13 and a variable blade 8 arranged below the screen section 7 and changing the traveling direction of the liquid pushed up to the screen section 7 in an arbitrary oblique direction.
