<p>Provided is a method of measuring the properties of fluids, such as absolute viscosity, kinematic viscosity, and density, using a machine mounted fluid property measuring apparatus. Also provided is a method of measuring in real time the properties of fluid raw materials or products in their manufacturing processes on industrial sites. To this end, the method includes generating a displacement in a direction resisting the viscosityof a fluid by applying a signal to a driving piezoelectric element of a piezoelectric actuator that includes the driving piezoelectric element and a sensing piezoelectric element, measuring an output signal from the sensing piezoelectric element, and determining density, absolute viscosity, and kinematic viscosity using the output signal.</p> |
