A vibration isolation device (10) of a container (C) applicable to general containers and capable of protecting, at low cost, articles loaded in carrying from vibration and a method of using the vibration isolation device. The vibration isolation device is interposed under the container (C) for carrying and a commodity transportation deck to protect loaded articles from vibration. Damping members (50) are interposed between a base frame (20) and a loading frame (30). The notch receiving structures (25) for twist locks (40) are disposed at at least four corners of the base frame (20), and the twist locks (40) are disposed at the corresponding positions on the loading frame (30).
