WRITING IMPLEMENT WITH CAP

A writing implement with a cap, wherein a guide groove (15) spirally extending from a base end side to a tip side at an inclination angle of approximately 45° relative to the axial direction is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the guide part (12) of a body (10) within the angular range of approximately 360° in the peripheral direction of the guide part (12). The cap (20) is so formed that a first engagement projected part (21) and a second engagement projected part (22) allowed to fit to the guide groove (15) of the body (10) are integrally disposed at the base end and the tip of the guide groove (15) so as to correspond to the guide groove (15) of the body (10) and also disposed apart from each other through the distance of approximately 1/2 of the overall length of the guide groove (15). By moving the cap (20) relative to the body (10) while rotating, the writing implement can provide a unique aesthetic appearance or atmosphere while the cap (20) is moving, and the cap (20) can be smoothly moved and guided on the body (10).
