OPTICAL SUBSCRIBER SYSTEM AND DISTURBING LIGHT SOURCE ESTIMATE METHOD IN OPTICAL SUBSCRIBER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical subscriber system and a disturbing light source estimate method in the optical subscriber system whereby a master station side can surely and easily estimate a slave station transmitting the disturbing light.

SOLUTION: This system periodically monitors optical transmission line losses between the master station 101 and respective slave stations 201-1 to 201-N and sensor states of various forms with respect to suspicious behaviors caused when the slave stations 201-1 to 201-N are disconnected from the optical lines to store the history to a database 108, and estimates a subscriber corresponding to a disturbing light source by searching and extracting an increase in the optical transmission line loss before and after the suspicious state by using a sensor section 216 on the basis of the history of the database 108 on the occurrence of a reception fault due to the disturbing light. Thus, the master station 101 can surely and easily estimate a slave station 201-x transmitting the disturbing light.
