<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make reducing of steering vibrations during idling and collision performance compatible. <P>SOLUTION: In a steering wheel 10, an airbag unit 14 is supported elastically in a vehicular vertical direction by an elastic element 16. Therefore, the airbag unit 14 itself becomes the mass of a dynamic damper, and vibrations in the vehicular vertical direction which are problematic problem in steering vibrations can be reduced. The airbag unit 14 is restrained and held not to move in a vehicular fore-and-aft direction, so that the collision performance is also satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
