TWO-WAY WDM OPTICAL ANALOG TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-way WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplex) optical analog transmission system capable of suppressing the deterioration of a transmission characteristic by adjusting a transmission level with high accuracy for every slave station.

SOLUTION: A master station 1 and slave stations 2a and 2b are connected through a single optical fiber 3, and uplink and downlink optical signals are subjected to wavelength multiplexing to thereby form a two-way transmission path through the optical fiber 3. The slave stations 2a and 2b detect a reception level of the downlink optical signal 102, and a transmission level of the uplink optical signal 103 is adjusted on the basis of a difference between the value of the reception level and a reference value.
