PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sealing a liquid in a hollow (bamboo container) between bamboo joints without boring a hole on a bamboo container while preventing unwanted bacteria or a foreign matter from entering the bamboo container. SOLUTION: The method is for sealing a liquid L in the bamboo container 1 including the joints 3 in series and a bamboo trunk 2. According to the method, a first joint face 4a is immersed in the liquid L as pressure on the second joint face 4b side is reduced to cause the liquid L to infiltrate into the bamboo container 1 through the first joint face 4a to be sealed in the bamboo container 1, which is then further sealed.
