<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma detoxifier capable of certainly and efficiently removing a large quantity of a flowing exhaust gas containing PFCs or the like and reducing the output of a plasma jet. <P>SOLUTION: A reaction cylinder 18 is constituted of a double tube. An exhaust gas introducing port 26 is installed at the end part most separating from a plasma jet torch 12 of an outer tube 22 and an exhaust gas supply port 28 is installed at the end part most being close to the plasma jet torch 12 of the inner tube 24. Thereby, the reaction cylinder 18 functions as a counter current type heat exchanger, can sufficiently preheat the exhaust gas F supplied to the plasma jet P, and can cool the treated exhaust gas F of a high temperature after thermal cracking. Therefore, the output of the plasma jet can be reduced and the large quantity of the flowing exhaust gas can be certainly and efficiently thermally-cracked and detoxified and further the cooling load of the treated exhaust gas F after thermal cracking can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
