PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device capable of various kinds of combination connection by making it possible to detachably mount an incorrect engagement preventing key to each of a pair of connectors which are engaged and connected with each other. SOLUTION: This connector device is equipped with a first connector 2 and a second connector 20 connected with the first connector 2. A first group of keyways 7<SB>0</SB>to 7<SB>4</SB>comprising a plurality of keyways are formed on the inner wall surface of the cylindrical housing of the first connector 2, and a second group of keyways 24<SB>0</SB>to 24<SB>4</SB>comprising the same number of keyways having the same shapes are formed at those spots corresponding to the first group of the keyways on the outer wall surface of the cylindrical housing of the second connector 20. When connecting the first connector 2 with the second connector 20, a keying plug is mounted to at least one keyway in the first group of keyways, and in the second group of keyways, keying plugs are mounted to the corresponding keyways except for the keyway in the first group of keyways to which the keying plug is mounted, and they are connected with each other.
