PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential pressure/pressure transmitter dispensing with an excessive pressure protection mechanism in a pressure-receiving body itself. SOLUTION: In this differential pressure/pressure transmitter for transmitting a high-pressure side liquid-contact block body equipped with a protection diaphragm and the protection diaphragm through a capillary, low-pressure side transfer liquid is brought into contact with the back surface of a high-pressure side protection diaphragm of the high-pressure side liquid-contact block body, and high-pressure side transfer liquid enclosed in a high-pressure capillary is brought into contact with the back surface of a low-pressure side protection diaphragm of a low-pressure side liquid-contact block body, to thereby protect the transmitter from an excessive pressure.
