PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric kotatsu control device ensuring control by remote control, providing control based upon existence/nonexistence of a user, and providing more comfortable usage of an electric kotatsu by attaching a display function. SOLUTION: The electric kotatsu control device is provided with a controller 10 capable of controlling and displaying an operating state in a midway portion of a cord 5 connecting a power source 3 and the kotatsu, and a remote controller 30 capable of operating the controller 10 by radio. By forming a receiving part 19 protruding from a controller 10 body in the controller 10, even when the controller 10 receiving a transmission signal from the remote controller 30 is hidden by an obstacle, the transmission signal from the remote controller 30 can be received in a wide angle area by the receiving part 19 formed protruding from the controller 10 body, and operation control or the like by the controller 10 can be positively carried out.
