PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion heating cooker capable of improving accuracy and safety in cooking and ensuring safety with high reliability while improving usability without causing a pot detection failure or malfunction even in the case of boiling over or the like by detecting the placed state of a pot on a burner and controlling the combustion state to an optimum state. SOLUTION: The presence of the pot 13 is detected by a pot detecting means 33 provided directly coupled to a rod 22 pressed down by the pot bottom when the pot 13 is placed on the burner 14, and a control part 34 having a gas flow regulating part 28 and a timer 35 is provided for controlling the combustion of the burner 14 based on the detection.
