PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit the fixing process of a housing and a bearing sleeve, as well as to reduce the costs of a dynamic pressure bearing device by reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: The dynamic pressure bearing device radially non-contact supports a shaft member 2 by dynamic action generated in the radial bearing gap between the outer peripheral surface of the shaft bearing 2 and a small diameter inner peripheral surface 7a of the bearing member 7. The bearing device is comprised of a shaft member 2, the bearing member 7, and a sealing member 9. The shaft member 2 is inserted in the inner periphery of the bearing member 7, and the lower end opening is sealed by a lid member 8. The shaft member 9 is installed in the upper end opening of the bearing member 7, and a seal space S is formed between the seal member and the outer peripheral surface of the shaft member 2. In assembling, an end surface 7e of the bearing member 7 and an end surface of the seal member 9 are engaged in the axial direction to position the seal member 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
