PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material feeder capable of preventing a fall of paper powder and a filling material onto the sheet material and capable of stabilizing feeding quality for a long time by arranging a receiver member under a conductive material over a width longer than that of a roller, and to provide an image forming device with the same. SOLUTION: This sheet material feeder is provided with a sheet material feeding means 4 to be brought in pressure-contact with the sheet materials 2 stacked in a sheet material loading member 7 to deliver the sheet materials 2 to a separating section and a tilting member 6 provided with a tilting surface 6a, on which a leading end of the sheet material 2 in the delivering direction abuts, to separate and convey the delivered sheet material 2 with the tilting surface 6a of the tilting member 6 and a nip formed part. The conductive material 34 is fitted to the sheet material feeding means 4 in a front part of the peripheral surface of the feeding means over a cassette 11 side, and the receiver member 37 is arranged under the conductive material 34 over a width larger than that of the sheet material feeding means 4.
