The invention relates to a method for coating the surfaces of plate-shaped work pieces with an antislip coating. The inventive method is characterized by applying a viscous polymer-based and/or polymer/resin-based glue forming the coating across the entire surface of the work pieces by passing them through a machine, thereby eliminating the need for an additional web of material.
