An image device, a processing method of the device and a program for executing the method by a computer are provided to produce and record an image file including a display image at high speed. In an image file(200), a header(210), thumbnail image data(220), main image data(230), display image data(240) and a footer are enumerated in order. A format of the image file corresponds to a format corresponding to the Exif(Exchangeable image file format) standard. The header stores additional information such as a photographing date of the main image data. The thumbnail image data are the reduced image data for displaying a summary of the recorded plural images. The main image data are the photographed data. The display image data are image data to be displayed on a display member.
