An outer case of a fan of a ventilating system is provided to place the outer case of the fan horizontally to a ceiling finishing part by assembling an adjusting hole with a fixing unit and placing in the ceiling finishing part, and to reduce working hours by selectively assembling the adjusting hole with the fixing unit according to height of the ceiling. An outer case(30) of a fan of a ventilating system includes a body(32) formed in a ceiling part and provided with adjusting holes(34), and a couple of fixing units(38) placed in an edge of a communication hole formed in a ceiling finishing part by penetrating the adjusting hole. Plural adjusting holes are arranged in multiple layers, and the fixing unit is formed by bending. The fixing unit consists of a first bent portion(35) placed in an upper part of the fixing unit, and a second bent portion(36) spaced downward from the first bent portion and bent.
