<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking supporting method capable of guiding a vehicle to a parking target area even after the vehicle enters the parking target area and a parking supporting device. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device 1 acquires a picture image data G picking up a rear view field of the vehicle C from a rear camera 22 provided on the vehicle C. Each of the picture image data G is stored in an RAM 4 in association with a position of the vehicle at each of the pick-up points. Furthermore, a coordinate of a previously set target frame is converted in accordance with the position of the vehicle at a current point and the converted target frame is displayed on a peripheral view field screen of a display 12. A coordinate of an area including at least a run-off part is computed when the converted target frame runs off the edge of the screen, the picture image data G including the run-off part is read from the RAM 4 and the picture image data G formed at the current point is supplemented and composed by the read out picture image data G. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
