<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly perform printing processing even when a department code error occurs and to manage precise counter information for each department. <P>SOLUTION: A host PC transmits the department code of a user, job identification information, and printing job data to an image forming means via a printer driver and performs print output of the printing data by a printing part by using the image forming means. The image forming means is provided with a department management part for counting up the counter information for each corresponding department on the basis of the department code in accordance with the print output. The department management part decides whether or not the department code to be sent from a host PC is correct, prints out the printing job data when the department code is correct, decides that the department code error occurs when the department code is not correct, registers the job identification information to the storage part, and notifies the host PC of that to cancel the department code error. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
