<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly perform prevention of drop of theft prevention performance of a Smart Engine Start (SES) system and smooth automatic start of an engine without trouble by Idling Stop and Start (ISS) system in a vehicle provided with both of the ISS system and the SES system. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 40 automatically stops the engine at least in vehicle stop, and automatically starts the engine at vehicle start operation by an occupant or at establishment of a predetermined emergent automatic start condition except vehicle start operation by the occupant. Also, the control unit 40 automatically starts the engine under a condition where ID certification of a portable machine 50 is established at vehicle start operation by the occupant, and automatically starts the engine under a condition where ID certification of the portable machine 50 is not established at establishment of emergent automatic start condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
