<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoluminescence liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The photoluminescence liquid crystal display is provided with a blue backlight, red and green phosphor layers, and a blue photoluminescence ND layer. Thus, a blue pixel of the photoluminescence liquid crystal display can improve a narrow viewing angle and directivity that are the problems in the conventional arts. The photoluminescence liquid crystal display is further provided with a UV filter for shielding UV light included in ambient light, thereby preventing excitation of a light emitting layer due to external light and preventing decrease in contrast due to unnecessary light emission in displaying an image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
