<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polysilane composition that enables to reconcile a good core profile and reduction of a propagation loss and a joint loss in an optical waveguide to form a core layer and a side face clad layer, the optical waveguide formed using it and its manufacture method. <P>SOLUTION: This polysilane composition comprises a polysilane compound and a silicone compound in a ratio of 80:20-5:95 (the polysilane compound:the silicone compound), in which the silicone compound has a double bond-containing silicone compound of 40-100 wt.%, and the composition contains an organic peroxide of 1-30 pts.wt. based on the total of the polysilane compound and the silicone compound of 100 pts.wt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
