PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound which is low in flocculation, and is excellent in compatibility with a binder in addition to excellent functional performance, and is also excellent in oxidation resistance and sublimation resistance as well, an organic functional material in which a polymer binder having a high glass transition temperature can be effectively utilized by using the compound, and which has the excellent functional performance, and its excellent stability in combination, and an organic functional element using the organic functional material. SOLUTION: There are provided the compound expressed by General Formula (1), the organic functional material containing the compound and the organic functional element coated with the organic functional material. In the formula (1), Z<SP>1</SP>, Z<SP>2</SP>and Z<SP>3</SP>each independently represent substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group; L represents a single bond, or aπconjugate group which may have a substituent included in a single bond or a cyclic structure or directly coupled thereto or adjacent thereto; two or more of Z<SP>1</SP>, Z<SP>2</SP>, Z<SP>3</SP>and L may bond to form a ring.
