PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running vehicle having a stepless type transmission device including a speed changing pedal for use in forwarding and retracting motions causing a relative less fatigue feeling even if the forwarding and retracting motions are repeated. SOLUTION: A forwarding motion switch Sf and a retracting motion switch Sr are present on one speed changing pedal 18. A mere slight changing of a treading position of the speed changing pedal 18 enables either a forwarding motion control or a retracting motion control for a vehicle to be carried out through HST 16, resulting in that its operating characteristic becomes more superior than that of the conventional system. In addition, a treading amount of the speed changing pedal 18 is detected by a treading sensor Sp to enable the forwarding motion speed or retracting motion speed to be changed by HST 16 in response to the treading amount detected by the treading sensor Sp.
