PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system provided with a mechanism for effectively carrying out control of connection and disconnection so as to enhance the satisfactions of both of different service qualities such as the service quality of a mobile communication terminal and the service quality of a large capacity data communication terminal. SOLUTION: In the wireless communication system, a plurality of wireless service providing areas are classified into individual AP service providing areas and virtual AP providing areas for virtually integrating two or more wireless service providing areas into a sum of sets of them. An AP apparatus application type discrimination means discriminates a type of an application started in a terminal which accesses the AP apparatus application type discrimination means. An AP management means of a wireless control apparatus manages the type of applications permitted for each AP apparatus, and a disconnection instruction means interrupts the connection between the AP apparatus and the terminal when the type of the application requested by the terminal connected to the AP apparatus is dissident with the type of application permitted by the AP management means. Further, the AP apparatus transmits the type of application discriminated by the application type discrimination means to the wireless control apparatus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
