PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of carrying out efficiently and surely visual inspection for a product surface by an inspection person. SOLUTION: A position of a defective portion of a product tire 10 is preliminarily detected by an automatic visual inspection device 20 for detecting only the position of the defective portion, when the inspection person P inspects an appearance of the product tire 10, to be displayed on a display 41 of an indication means 40 installed in the vicinity of a working table 30 for the inspection person P to inspect visually the product tire 10, and the inspection person P makes the inspection while confirming the position of the defective portion of the product tire 10 on the display 41.
