PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission belt excellent in traveling life and reduced in emitting sound during traveling. SOLUTION: In this transmission belt, an adhesive rubber layer 2 is vulcanizingly adhered to a compressive rubber layer 4, a core 3 to which adhesive treatment is applied is adhesively buried in the adhesive rubber layer 2, and at least the compressive rubber layer 4 of the adhesive rubber layer 2 and the compressive rubber layer 4 is formed of the vulcanized matter of the mixture of ethylene-α-olefine-diene rubber. The first and second ethylene-α-olefine-diene rubber occupy at least 80 wt.% of the rubber mixture, and are different in ethylene content therebetween within a range of 18 to 40 wt.%. The ethylene content of the first ethylene-α-olefine-diene rubber comes within a range of 40 to 59 wt.%, a second ethylene content comes within a range of 68 to 90 wt.%, and the ethylene content of the rubber mixture comes within a range of 67 to 75 wt.%.
