PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the replacing workability of a mold in the vertical injection molding machine of a type for moving a movable die plate having a movable mold attached on its undersurface side up and down with respect to a fixed die plate having a fixed mold attached on its upper surface side. SOLUTION: In the vertical injection molding machine for moving a movable die plate having a movable mold attached on its undersurface side up and down with respect to a fixed die plate having a fixed mold attached on its upper surface side, the fixed die plate is allowed to bear the function as a machine frame and the upper surface of the fixed die plate also used as a part of the machine frame is made flush.
