PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resilient thermal stencil paper which allows uniform ink permeation and thereby, improves an image quality and hardly creases during plate making. SOLUTION: This thermal stencil paper is formed of a laminate of a tissue and an ink-impermeable thermoplastic resin film, and the tissue contains a fiber with crimping latency. The fiber has a laminated structure of not less than two components of substances and normally not crimps but develops the crimping phenomenon by heating.
