PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric discharge machining head capable of processing large-sized glass sheets at a speed matching industrial requirements while optimizing the use of electrolytic solution and minimizing its dispersion in a working zone. SOLUTION: The electric discharge machining head for a chemical etching support system is equipped with an electrode 4 extending inside the head and the main body of the head 2, which is designed to accommodate countering electrodes 14 extending radially around the electrode 4. The head is further equipped with means 6 for supplying electrolytic solution to the space formed by dividing the main body 2 with the electrode 4 and countering electrodes 14.
