PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of certainly visually confirming urination and/or its spreading area. SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 such as a disposable diaper or the like comprises an absorbent core 41 comprising a web of long fibers and a water absorbing polymer, and a back sheet (sheet with an indicator) 3 arranged on the other side of a contact surface to users' skin of the absorbent core 41. The long fiber is practically non-water absorbing and hydrophilic, which is oriented in a plane direction of the absorbent core 41.
