PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a processing device for purifying/heating hot water. SOLUTION: The processing device 1 which takes out the hot water of a warm bathing tub, performs the purifying/heating of the hot water, and feeds back to the warm bathing tub again is constituted of a container body 13, the inside of which is partitioned into an upper chamber 11 and a lower chamber 12 by a partitioning plate 10 equipped with a communication hole 9, an upper lid 15 which airtightly closes the upper section of the container body 13, a filter 17 which is arranged in the upper chamber 11 in a manner to surround the communication hole 9, a sterilization lamp 27 and a heater 28 which are arranged in a manner to go through the lower chamber 12, and a pump 34 which sucks the hot water of the warm bathing tub and feeds the hot water to the upper chamber 11 of the container body 13. Impurity in the hot water which is introduced to the upper chamber 11 from the warm bathing tub is removed by the filter 17, is introduced to the lower chamber 12, and is sterilized by the sterilization lamp 27.
