PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure for a drawer which does not require a supplementary process to a rail mechanism, and can prevent a random lateral movement when the drawer is pulled out from a main body such as a cabinet or a desk from occurring, and in addition, for which an adjustment for the lateral movement prevention can easily be performed even after the building up of the cabinet as well. SOLUTION: To the lower surface on both side sections of the drawer 4, a pair of right and left guide members 40 having a protruding section 43 facing the direction to right and left side plates 11 of the main body 2 are attached. In this case, this supporting structure for the drawer is constituted in such a manner that the lateral movement of the drawer 4 to the main body 2 may be regulated to a predetermined amount x by bringing the distal end of the protruding section 43 of each guide member 40 into contact with the vertical surface section 26c of a main body side rail member 26.
