An electron emission device is provided to absorb outgassing and improve a lifetime thereof by preventing vibration of a container for receiving a getter. A first substrate(2) and a second substrate are disposed opposite to each other in a predetermined interval. An electron emission unit is formed on the first substrate in order to emit electrons from the first substrate to the second substrate. A light emitting unit is formed on the second substrate and emits light by the electrons of the electron emission unit. A getter fixing unit(33) includes a getter(35) and is coupled with a groove(40) which is formed at one of the first and second substrates. The getter fixing unit includes a container(32) for receiving the getter and a spring(31) supported by the container and the groove.
