A cutting device has a main body (2) which has on a face, a first set of cutting edges (3) and a second set of cutting edges (4a & 4b). The posit ioning of the cutting edges allows for areas of the food to be cut while other area s are compressed to leave interconnected areas. The food can be handled in one piece and separated into different pieces by pulling on the interconnected areas, which are frangible so allow for the food to be separated into predefined portions.
