<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus exerting the capacity of printing processing to the utmost. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a host buffer which temporarily stores printing data received from a host computer; a working memory of a storage capacity that can store a plurality of image data in units of one pages; a printing means which reads out the image data stored in the working memory when receiving a printing start request and carries out printing to a printing paper on the basis of the read image data; an image processing means which reads out the printing data from the host buffer, analyzes the read printing data, generates the image data in units of one pages and writes the data into the working memory; and a control means which outputs the printing start request to the printing means when a total amount of sizes of the image data stored in the working memory exceeds a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
