<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact which effectively decreases contact impedance for increasing a transmission speed of an electric connector. <P>SOLUTION: The electric connector provided for use in a substrate-to-substrate connector assembly is an insulative housing mounted on a first printed circuit board, and has the insulative housing which is equipped with an outlet for housing a plug part of a mating connector mounted on a second printed circuit board. A plurality of conductive terminals are mounted on the housing, and respective terminals are provided with contact arms which extendingly exist in the outlet.
