<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen color staggering of luminescent color and to raise color rendering property in a light emitting apparatus comprising an InGaN based LED and a phosphor. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting apparatus comprises: an LED which emits light contained in the range from near-ultraviolet before and after the wavelength of 400 nm to blue; a 1st phosphor which is excited by the light which LED emits, emits light contained in the stretch from green to orange and has M<SB>2</SB>SiO<SB>4</SB>:Eu<SP>2+</SP>(M is an alkaline earth metal) as a basic composition; and a 2nd phosphor which is excited by the light which LED emits, emits red light and comprises Eu<SP>3+</SP>ion as an activator agent. Since the 1st phosphor which has the M<SB>2</SB>SiO<SB>4</SB>:Eu<SP>2+</SP>having a wide excitation band in the range from near-ultraviolet before and after the wavelength of 400 nm to blue light as a basic composition is included, even if the emission wavelength of LED is shifted to a long wavelength side or to a short wavelength side, the white light with little color staggering can be acquired. In addition, since the 2nd phosphor is included, the deficiency of a red component is covered and color rendering property can be raised. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
