<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength routing device having an attenuation function whole suppressing the device cost low. <P>SOLUTION: The wavelength routing device includes one input port, a plurality of output ports, a spectral attenuation means capable of spectrally dispersing input light and performing attenuation by each wavelength light, a reception stage having a single or a plurality of wavelength selecting switches deflecting each wavelength light to travel to one of the output ports, at least one output port having at least one port coupled with an output port of the reception stage via an optical path, a spectral monitor device which monitors a plurality of input ports in which at least one port is connected to the output port of the reception stage through an optical path, and the input light from the input port, a transmission means having a single or a plurality of wavelength selecting switches having deflecting means of deflecting the wavelength light input from the input port to travel to the output port, and a controller having a spectral attenuation control unit which designates an attenuation quantity for each wavelength element to the spectral attenuation means on the basis of spectral characteristics monitored by the spectral monitor device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
