<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A/D converter, capable of preventing data resulting in all 1s or all 0s from being outputted as its output, even if pulsing noise enters immediately prior to the end of sampling. <P>SOLUTION: This successive approximation type A/D converter is provided with a voltage comparator 1, a successive approximation register 2 and a D/A converter 3. The voltage comparator 1 is provided with two or more differential amplifiers 11 and 12 connected in series via a capacitor pair. When an inputted analog signal is sampled, switches S21 and S22, provided between a sampling capacitor C1 and the differential amplifier 11, are turned off, to thereby prevent pulsing noise from transmitting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
