<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can be managed, based upon identification information while manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: Since the identification information can be transmitted once a radio tag circuit 14 is electrically connected to a conductor layer 13, formed on a display surface 47 of a display panel 11 which does not block radio waves, the display panel 11 itself can have wireless tag function and even during manufacturing process, production control can be performed by the sent identification informations. Since the display panel 11 is a liquid crystal panel and includes an element, such as a counter electrode 61, which attenuates radio waves, the sensitivity of the conductor layer 13 can be maintained, by arranging the conductor layer 13 on the display surface 47. The conductor layer 13 is formed on a first substrate 15, the wireless tag chip section 14 is mounted on a second substrate 16, and the conductor layer 13 and wireless chip section 14 are electrically connected across a step between the first substrate 15 and second substrate 16 by an inter-substrate connection path 22 formed of a conductive paste material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
