BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION MEASURING METHOD, BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION MEASURING OPTICAL ELEMENT AND BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION MEASURING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure biological information in a biological tissue in the same position seen from the surface of a living body and at different depths.

SOLUTION: The biological information measuring method has the process A of irradiating biological tissue abutting against a concave portion from a first position of the concave portion with first light, the process B of irradiating the biological tissue abutting against the concave portion from the second position of the concave portion with second light, the process C of measuring the first light returning to the optical element from the biological tissue, the process D of measuring the second light returning to the optical element from the biological tissue and the process E of obtaining the biological information on the biological tissue on the basis of the result of measurements obtained in the process C and the process D by using an optical element having a concave portion to abut against the biological tissue. The second position is located in a position deeper than the first position in the concave portion, and the first position and the second position of the concave portion are set so that the optical axis of the first light and the optical axis of the second light are superposed on each other seen from a side where the optical element butts against the biological tissue.
