<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparatively inexpensive distal-end video type fluorescent endoscope apparatus which can remarkably improve the probability of characterizing the lesion, e.g. cancer, can highly precisely detect the lesion of small change, e.g. early cancer with high probability. <P>SOLUTION: The fluorescent endoscope apparatus has: an excitation light-supplying part provided with a light source part 1 for emitting excitation light for exciting fluorescent substances and irradiating a living body 12 with light emitted by the light source part 1; and a fluorescent detection part provided with an imaging optical system 13 for imaging fluorescence emitted from the living body 12. The light source part 1 has an excitation wavelength selection means 7 for selecting a plurality of excitation lights of different wavelength areas, and the imaging optical system 13 has an excitation wavelength cut-off filter 6 for cutting off light of the excitation wavelength selected by the excitation wavelength selection means 7. The fluorescent detection part detects fluorescence of different wavelength areas of the same number as that of excitation lights of different wavelength areas irradiated through the excitation light-supplying part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
