PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disk recorder having a function capable of automatically performing the work of sorting the files of the same drama in the same folder. SOLUTION: In the case of judging that there is a file recorded by a serial drama sorting function and judging that the drama is the one recorded by the serial drama sorting function before, numeral information indicating the number of the story is increased and updated, the number of the story is turned to a latest name, and the file of the drama is stored in the folder to which the name of the drama is attached. In the case of judging that the drama is not the one recorded by the serial drama sorting function before, the numerical information indicating the number of the story is increased and updated, and for instance, in the case of judging that there is the folder of the same drama title, the numerical information indicating the number of the story is attached without preparing a folder and the file of the drama is stored in the folder of the same drama title.
